TEX-E |
- TEX-E series are the insulated winding wire having Reinforced Insulation complying with subclause 2.10.5.4, Annex U of IEC 60950 3rd, IEC 60950-1 and subclause 8.17, Annex H of IEC 60065 7th. Normal Withstand Test Voltage is 3kVrms for 1 minute. TEX-E series also complies with 6kVrms for 1minute as a twisted pair.
- UL changed the category of TEX-E series from OCDT2, AVLV2 to OBJT2. Therefore, TEX-E wires acquired new UL File No and the category. The product covered by E206440 (OBJT2) is quite the same as the product covered by E157568 (OCDT2) and E188643 (AVLV2). These product can be used compatibly each other.
- When operation temperatures of the wound components exceed Class A (105°C), it is required in accordance with appropriated Insulation System UL 1446/IEC 61857 regardless of temperature rating of each materials/wires.
- Numbering system of CSA was revised at 2000. Legacy File number is compatible.
Note
TEX-E: Standard type, TEX-ELZ: Litz wire type, TEX-ECEW3: Self-bonding type
